Fifty Shades Darker trailer gets tongues wagging…

So… the wait is finally over. The steamy new trailer for Fifty Shades Darker, starring Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson, has been unleashed upon the world *Cue screaming ladies everywhere*

The world went into a frenzy on Monday 12th September as the first movie post was revealed, teasing us with the trailer the following day. And here it is.

The second film in the ‘Fifty Shades’ franchise follows on from 2015′s Fifty Shades Of Grey, based on EL James’ racy novels, and sees the relationship between Christian Grey (Jamie) and Anastasia Steele (Dakota) grow.

But whats really got tongues wagging is the big reveal as Kim Basinger is unmasked as Elena “Mrs. Robinson” Lincoln, the ex-lover who introduced Christian Grey to S&M. Thats not the only character to be introduced. As well as Basinger’s character (who’s motives in her now platonic business relationship with Christian are uncertain) there’s an ex-girlfriend (Bella Heathcote) who threatens to destroy what Anastasia and Christian have. On top of all that, Ana’s boss at her new publishing job (Eric Johnson) has some problems hearing the word no himself.

The trailer also has people wondering how much darker this film will be, with a sense of danger coming from outside of the sex scenes. Luckily for us, in the middle of all this intrigue and drama, there’s still time for masquerade balls, sailing trips, and steamy shower sex. Hoorah.

What do you think of the trailer? Are you filled with excitement or eye rolls? Let us know in the comments.
